Presentation of Credentials
Ambassador Albert Jónsson presented his credentials as Ambassador of Iceland to Mexico on October 24, 2007 at a ceremony in the National Palace in Mexico City. After the presentation, President Calderón and Ambassador Jónsson discussed Icelandic-Mexico relations, in particular ways to strengthen the bilateral trade between Iceland and Mexico. President Calderón also expressed his interest in the possibility of establishing co-operation between the two countries in the fields of energy and fisheries.
