About the Embassy
The Embassy of Iceland in Stockholm represents Iceland vis-à-vis Sweden, as well as Albania, Kuwait, Cyprus, and Syria. The role of the Embassy is to represent the interest of Iceland in all respect vis-à-vis in those countries. The mission of the Embassy is also to promote bilateral political, economic, trade, investment and cultural relations between Iceland and the above-mentioned countries. Furthermore, the Embassy protects and assists, when needed, the Icelandic national’s vis-à-vis foreign authorities, institutions and individuals.
There are 13 Icelandic Honorary Consulates in the countries where the Ambassador is accredited, 9 in Sweden, 2 in Cyprus, 1 in Albania and 1 in Syria.
The Embassy is located at Kommendörsgatan 35, 114 58 Stockholm.
