**How many days do I need for Snæfellsnes?**

Two days is a comfortable minimum to drive the peninsula loop, stopping at Kirkjufell, Djúpalónssandur, Arnarstapi, Snæfellsjökull glacier, and the fishing villages. One long day is possible but rushed. Three days allows for hiking and exploring at a slower pace.

**How do I get to the Westfjords?**

Choose a road route from Reykjavík to your exact Westfjords destination or fly to Ísafjörður from Reykjavík domestic airport. Roads are narrow and winding, so add extra time for driving. Some roads close in winter. The Baldur ferry connects Stykkishólmur to Brjánslækur.

**Is the Reykjanes peninsula safe to visit with recent eruptions?**

Check current SafeTravel notices and the exact destination’s access before travelling. An attraction being open does not establish that nearby eruption areas or walking routes are open. Never walk on recent lava.

**Where and when can I see seals on Vatnsnes?**

Seals are present year-round but most visible from May to August when they haul out on rocks and beaches.
