The San Francisco Ballet to Preform in Reykjavík Arts Festival 2007
The San Francisco Ballet will preform at the Rekjavík Arts Festival 2007, which takes place May 10-26. The San Francisco Ballet is the oldest professional ballet company in America. Helgi Tómasson became artistic director of the ballet company and under his direction it has achieved international notoriety and acclaim. This is the second time that the San Francisco Ballet takes part in the festival, previously the Ballet group preformed at the 2000 festival and was recieved with much fanfare. This year the ballet company will preform a ballet that is based on Mr. Tómasson´s choreography.
