Icelanders gather to celebrate Independence day - 17. júní

Icelandic Independence Day looms bright and clear in the near future and Icelanders are going to get together and celebrate at Bohemian Hall, Astoria Beergarden in Queens, (29-19 24th Avenue, Astoria, NY 11102), at 2pm.  Directions are available at the top of the following website:

There will be no formal agenda but the plan is to play a few games with the children, some food and beverages will be served at a modest price, paid at the entrance (15 dollars for grown-ups, children eat free).

It would be appreciated if you could write us a short e-mail to icecon.ny@utn.stjr.is, before next Thursday, June 15th, to inform about how many are in your party so we can notify the venue, but if you don't.. please come along anyway.
