Embassy
The Permanent Representative of Iceland to the UN also serves as the Ambassador of Iceland to the following states, with domicile in New York:
The Bahamans, Barbados, Cuba, The Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana and Jamaica.
The office of the Permanent Mission in New York therefore acts as an Embassy towards the above mentioned states. In addition, Iceland is also represented by Honorary Consuls of Iceland, permanently residing in the capitals of most of these countries, listed elsewhere on this site.
