Garðar Thor's Album Cortes was released in the United Kingdom yesterday. It is safe to say that the response he has gotten is great, the album was the second highest selling one on the HMV's classical album selling list and that is before the release date and takes into account pre-orders only.

Garðar Thor will be taking part in a gala evening at The Hampton Court Festival on June 16th. There he will perform alongside one of Britain's most popular sopranos, Lesley Garret.
