'Constructing Spectacle' Exhibition
Final year work by Spatial Design students from the BA (Hons) courses in Exhibition Design and Design for Film, TV and Theatre at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College will be exhibited at the V&A Theatre Museum from 20th June - 2nd July.
The projects exhibited are Performing Modernism, relating to the current Modernism exhibition at the V&A and a personal project designed for a site in Reykjavik, following a course visit to Iceland in February 2006. Projects include; an exhibition on Surtsey, Aristophanes on Arnarhóll, Light on Björk, a film installation on Laugarnes, Surveillance at the Harbour etc.
In these projects, design, film, art and architecture come together,
redefining spaces of performance and exhibition creating new worlds of
experience.
