Daniel Ágúst at ICA London 05.10.2005
Insitute of Contemporary Arts
The first in a new series of record label nights kicks off in style with a programme of live music from One Little Indian.
With a solo album that has been five years in the making, Daníel Ágúst, former lead singer of seminal electronica collective GusGus, is set to make a triumphant return. Daníel Ágúst has already enjoyed international success and has topped the charts three times in his native Iceland. His new album reunites Daníel with Bix, remixer to Madonna, Beck and Sigur Ros. The result is a collection of blissful mini-symphonies with an infectious pop edge. This show is an early preview of the eagerly anticipated album ‘Swallowed a Star’ out early next year.
