Iceland's National Day
The Icelandic Society in London is celebrating the national day of Iceland, 17 June, in St. Paul’s Church in Covent Garden on 12 June.
Reverend Sigurður Arnarson will serve and Ambassador Gunnlaugsson will address the gathering. The Icelandic Choir in London will sing and the ”Fjallkonan” (the lady of the mountains) will recite a poem. After the mass service, traditional Icelandic refreshments will be served in the garden.
