Every August, Charlotte Square in the heart of historic Edinburgh, the world’s first UNESCO City of Literature, becomes the home to the Edinburgh International Book Festival. This year, from 9 – 25 August, the Book Festival will play host to authors, playwrights, poets, politicians, journalists and thinkers from around the world.

‘SEYDISFJ R U ’ is a site specific installation produced by artists Mhari Baxter and Melissa MacRobert as a result of their joint residency at Skaftfell Cultural Centre in Iceland last year.
Expanding from their previous exhibition in Edinburgh’s Old Town in March this year, the artists will present a series of light boxes in The Arches, Glasgow.

Icelandic superstar Mugison will officially launch his new album “Mugiboogie” in the UK on May 22nd, 2008. “Mugiboogie” has already become the best selling album in Mugi’s homeland, shifting over 10,000 copies to date, and is expected to make big noise internationally. The launch party – arranged in conjunction with IMX - will take place at the Corsica Studios, SE London. Mugi plays at 9.50 for one hour - expect some heavy-duty rock & roll.
