Íslensk listahátíð í Berlín

Íslensk listahátíð "BERLinvasion" verður haldin í Berlín dagana 24. sept. til 6. okt. n.k. Það er listahópurinn KlinK & BanK, sem er þungamiðjan í hátíðinni. Eftirfarandi er texi úr fréttatilkynningu:

BERLinvasion: ICELANDIC ART

ART FORUM    BERLINER LISTE      BERLINER KUNSTSALON       KÜNSTLERHAUS BETHANIEN

Berlin, one of the hottest spots of the artworld, will be the stage for a lot of activities of the young Icelandic art scene this fall. In the center of BERLinvasion are the activities of KlinK & BanK, a multi artistic studio space of 140 extraordinary artists. Klink & BanK in recent years hosted several guest projects e.g. Jason Rhoades & Paul McCarthy’s "Sheep Plug" and lately Christoph Schlingensief’s "Animatograph". The KlinK and BanK – invasion, with several performances, concerts and documentations, will be in the KlinK & BanK spirit -spontaneous and dynamic at BERLINER LISTE.

This year’s Icelandic representative at Venice Biennial Gabríela Frídriksdóttir is participating in ART FORUM. Three exciting installations by Egill Sæbjörnsson, Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir and Magnús Árnason will be shown at BERLINER KUNSTSALON and Erla Haraldsóttir will open her studio in KÜNSTLERHAUS BETHANIEN.
