JATA World Tourism Congress Travel Fair
The biggest travel fair in Asia, JATA World Tourism Congress Travel Fair was held at Tokyo Big Sight 22 - 24 September.
The following companies, along with the Embassy of Iceland in Tokyo, introduced Iceland:
Viking (Icelandair in Japan)
Shimpoh Foods (Importer of lamb meat)
Icelandic Japan
Atlantic Air
In recent years the number of guests visiting this travel fair has been increasing and this year 106.241 guests came. Many of them visited the Icelandic booth, both Japanese guests as well as foreigners living in Japan, to obtain information about the country.
