Jónas Haraldsson, a new employee at the Permanent mission
On the 15th of August Mr Jónas Haraldsson took up the role of temporary officer at the permanent mission. Previously he was employed as a foreign news reporter for Vísir, Bylgjan and Stöð tvö. He also taught African politics and history at the University of Iceland.
Mr Haraldsson has a BA in political science from the University of Iceland and an MA in African studies from the University of Birmingham, England. He was born in Akureyri, Iceland, on the 16th of February 1980. He will work at the embassy until the 15th of February 2008.
