The Embassy represents Iceland vis-a-vis Germany, Croatia, Poland and Switzerland. There are 17 Icelandic consulates in these countries, 12 in Germany and 2 in Poland. In Poland, there is a trade representative located in Warsaw.

Foreign Trade
The trade relations with Croatia are progressing, although the volume of trade is still at moderate level.
In 2004, Icelandic exports to Croatia accounted for about 73 million ISK (fob). Key export commodities are fish (29 million ISK), medicinal and pharmaceutical products (19 million ISK), and scientific and control instruments (12 million ISK).
Imports from Croatia to Iceland amounted to about 50 million ISK (fob) in 2004. Key import commodities are electrical machinery and appliances, and apparel and clothing accessories.
In recent decade Poland has become an important trade partner for Iceland in Eastern Europe, and is the key trading partner among the new member states of the EU. Polands share of Iceland's foreign trade is about 1%.
In 2004, Icelandic exports to Poland accounted for about 2,394 million ISK (fob). Key export commodities are fish (2,208 million ISK), as well as machinery, transport equipment, animal oils and fats, and leather and dressed furskins.
Imports from Poland amounted to about 1,934 million ISK (fob) in the year 2004, and extend to a wide product range. Key import commodities are furniture, apparal and clothing accessories, transport equipment, manufactures of metal, cork and wood manufactures, chemical materials and products.
