Iceland´s best known youth choir visiting China
Seven concerts scheduled in four cities.
The Hamrahlid Youth Choir, perhaps Iceland’s best known choir, is making its first ever appearance in China. The Hamrahlid Choir will perform in four cities, Beijing, Xianyang, Wuhan and Qingdao.
The Hamrahlid Choir has been at the forefront in Icelandic musical life for nearly four decades. With its dedication, passion and spirit, the Hamrahlid Choir has touched audiences around the world. It has travelled to 20 countries and has performed at many of the world’s leading choral festivals to great choral music. Under the famous Icelandic conductor – Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir this Choir has won many national and international awards.
