China International Travel Mart
The Embassy of Iceland, Icelandair, the Icelandic Tourist Board and four Icelandic travel companies participated in the China International Travel Mart (CITM) in Shanghai 16 – 19 November. Those companies are Iceland Excursion, Yu Fan Travel, Iceland Travel and Yucheng International Ltd. During the CITM, the Embassy and Icelandair held a seminar on Icelandic travel that was attended by representatives of 40-50 travel agents. The CITM is the largest travel fair in China and attracts over 100.000 visitors. This was the third time that the Embassy, Icelandair and ITB have organized an Icelandic participation in CITM. The CITM is held annually, alternating between Shanghai and Kunming.
