Ambassador Gunnarsson presents his credentials to President Hu Jintao On 14 November
Ambassador Gunnar Snorri Gunnarsson presented his credentials to President Hu Jintao. At that occasion the rapid development of Icelandic Chinese relations in the fields of trade, utilisation of geothermal energy, fisheries culture and tourism were addressed as well as the increasing number of Icelandic companies establishing offices in China. Discussion of developments in these areas was followed up at the Ambassador's meeting later that day with Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing.
