5th World Forum on Sport, Olympic Education and Culture.
Olafur Rafnsson president of the Icelandic Olympic Committee and Mr. Stefan Konradsson, the IOC secretary general participated in the 5th World Forum on Sport, Olympic Education and Culture in Beijing, 23-24 October. The Forum was held to assist in the preparations for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. It addressed the critical role of education and culture in sports, thus making a positive and effective contribution to well-being of the world’s youth.
