North Korea
North Korea
Diplomatic relations between Iceland and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were established on 2 April 1982. Iceland does not have a representation in Pyongyang, but the Icelandic Embassy in Beijing, PRC, represents Iceland in diplomatic relations with DPRK.
Visas to Iceland
Citizens of North Korea are required to have a visa when visiting Iceland. The Royal Swedish Embassy in Pyongyang represents Iceland in visa matters in North Korea. Applicants for visas to Iceland should therefore contact the Swedish Embassy in Pyongyang
