Screening of Heima - a film by Sigur Rós

Friday 23 November 2007 (11:15 PM screening) and Saturday 24 November 2007 (9:30 PM screening), the Images Festival in Toronto presents the Canadian Premiere of: Heima – a film by Sigur Rós. Featuring original music by Sigur Rós.

The Royal, 608 College Street, $10 advance / $12 at the door.

‘heima' is sigur rós's first ever film, filmed over two weeks summer 2006 when the band undertook a series of free, unannounced concerts in iceland. they hauled 40-plus people round 15 locations to the furthest flung corners of their homeland for their debut venture into live film, to create something, well, inspirational.
