Hunt for Icelandic Easter eggs
The Friends of Iceland joined other Scandinavian clubs in Ottawa in a special program over the Easter holidays at the Children’s Museum of the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Easter traditions in the Nordic countries were showcased.
Children present were very excited about the hunt and apparently enjoyed their discovery of gorgeous looking Icelandic Easter eggs, so rich in chocolate and other sweets. The Embassy of Iceland added to the promotional value for Iceland by providing information booklets for distribution at the show.
