Talespin performs Búkolla
On Saturday June 9th, Talespin will perform the beloved Icelandic story of Búkolla.
Talespin is a combination of storytelling, music and graphic design for multi-media concert events. The performers of Talespin are Anna Lea Stefánsdóttir- violin, Chanda VanderHart – piano, Bryan Rothfuss – speaker & percussion
The group commissions various composers to set relatively unknown fairytales or myths from around the world to original music. In a concert format, the tale is narrated by a speaker and accompanied by live music as well as projected visuals, also commissioned and designed especially for Talespin.
The program is something completely unique and highly entertaining for audiences of all ages. Throughout each Talespin performance the multimedia nature of this multimedia event captivates children while parents enjoy high quality classical compositions.
Helmut Neumann composed the music for the story of Búkolla, and Judann Weichselbraun painted the pictures.
The concert takes place on Saturday June 9th at 15.00 in Off Theater, Kirchengasse 41, 1070 Wien
