The Reykjavík Male Choir goes to Austria
The Reykjavík Male Choir will host a beneficiary concert in Vienna, the 6th of August, at 19:30 in Minoriten Kirche. The location of the church is in the 1.st district at Minoriten Platz, accessible by train U3 at Herrengasse.
Allow yourself to be taken on a musical journey arround the land of ice and fire, not only for the interesting program but to support a good cause, all procedes will go to aid Austrian children with cancer. The men will be conducted by Friðrik S. Kristjánsson and will preform various Icelandic compositions, as well as beloved classics by Schubert, Mozart and Verdi. The Vienna concert is the first on a four stop tour arround Austria, which aims to bring help through the expression of music.
Other concerts of the Icelandic male choir will be held in Bad Reichenhall in Germany on 2 August and in Salzburg at the St. Andrä Church on 4 August. The choir will furthermore sing during the Holy Mass at the Vienna St. Stephan's Cathedral on 6 August at 12 hrs.
